I have chosen a selection
of my work for my digital portfolio, which shows a selection of techniques and my
own personal way of working. I have tried to include many different types of
work from different units to show that I am creative person who can experiment
with different medias and can respond to briefs in different ways.

Glove Designs
I have tried to
experiment with different materials when designing my gloves. I have used water
based paints, felt tip pens, pencils and collage which all have different
effects.

the colour and light/dark shown.

Pen And Wash
I enjoyed doing a pen
and wash drawing as it’s a simple technique that can produce really effective
results.

Textile Prints Final
These are all prints
of a female figure behind different backgrounds to show different effects.
These are both printed bold backgrounds where although black and white can be
dull and boring, it is here shown and bright and eye-catching.
For my final
background I decided to use mixed media and focus on colour to make it bold and
dramatic.

Fruit Media 2
Using ink I drew my
own interpretation of fruit hoping it would stand out. Precision was not my
main focus as I focused on shape and colour. I also used tracing paper and
paint to do other little mixed media designs.

Own Interpretation Of Artist Research
This is an acrylic
painting of an artist work focusing on the colour and shapes shown. Helenka’s
work appealed to me because of the unique shapes in the face and the colours she
uses.

Mono Prints
These are mono prints
of people in magazine/newspapers that appealed to me.

Clown
This is an oil painting of a clown that i decided to paint because clowns are a source of laughter but a lot of people fear them. I enjoyed painting this clown because of the different colour and detail shown.
